With the File Manager built into the SiteSource Website Control Panel, you will have one of the most efficient web file management tools at your disposal. With it, you can upload files simply by dragging them into your browser. You can move files and folders in your account by dragging and dropping them. You can decompress uploaded zipped archives.

You can also right–click on any file or directory to obtain access to these functions.

You can now manage multiple domain names without difficulty through our Domain Manager. It includes all the domain administration tools that you need and everything is designed in a user–friendly fashion. Every feature is only a single mouse click away – from forwarding or parking a domain to changing your domain name’s WHOIS or DNS info.

And with our Website Control Panel, once you are ready with your domain names, you can momentarily start working on your site without having to log in to a different Website Control Panel.

If you own a web site, you have to also administer all the electronic mail accounts pertaining to it. And whilst composing emails is really easy, administering the respective electronic mail accounts can be tough. You may need to deal with unsolicited bulk emails, to set up mail filters, to concern yourself with security problems, etc.

With our Email Accounts Manager, you will realize that managing e–mailboxes is not difficult at all. You will be offered quick access to all critical features (you can forward e–mails, set up mail filters, activate e–mail spam protection, etc.) and you can manage multiple mailbox accounts at the same time.

Virtually every web application needs databases to save info. Because of this, we offer you a user–friendly interface – the Databases Manager, from where you can work with all your existing databases, be that MySQL databases or PostgreSQL databases.

With only a click of the mouse, you can back up entire databases, log in the phpPgAdmin/phpMyAdmin tools, change database access passwords and more.

With the SiteSource Website Control Panel, you can quickly set up an auto–backup of your websites and your MySQL and PgSQL databases in your Dropbox account. This way, you can be sure that, irrespective of what happens with our web hosting servers, you will always have the most recent backup at your disposal.

Our Dropbox data backup service is fully automated – all you have to do is connect your Dropbox account and indicate exactly how many backups you wish to keep at all times.

When you have a site, it is necessary to have it defended against all potential attacks. The SiteSource Website Control Panel offers you automatic protection against known hack assaults, cross–site scripting assaults and URL forgery attacks – the ModSecurity firewall. ModSecurity is enabled by default for all the websites in your account.

The ModSecurity web application firewall stops requests to your sites based on pre–defined rules. We have gathered a huge list of confirmed malicious requests, so you don’t need to do the work on your own. ModSecurity demands no additional configuration on your part.

With the Web Apps available in the Website Control Panel, you can swiftly install 40+ different software applications, including WordPress, Joomla^™, Mambo and many others. You can forget about looking for the most up–to–date release of a given software application. Moreover, you will no longer have to upload, install and configure everything by hand. We will perform all setup procedures and will also automatically set up a database for your web application.

What’s more, our Web Apps maintains a logfile of all the web apps that you have installed, including the username, the password and the login URL. Thus, you can still sign in, even if you fail to memorize your password.

Knowing how users interact with their web site is crucial for any website owner. With the Online Stats Manager in the Website Control Panel, you will get real–time stats about all the things that your visitors do on your website from the very moment it is published to the web, with absolutely no configuration required on your end.

At any time, you can see exactly how many people have dropped in on your web site and the average time they have spent on it. You can also view unique and return visits, hits, most–requested webpages, most frequently used key phrases, exit and entry pages, and more.
